Classic Kimchi Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup kimchi, chopped
2 tablespoons kimchi juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
1 egg

Instructions:

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and green onion, and sauté until fragrant.
Add kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in rice, kimchi juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Make a well in the center of the skillet and crack the egg into it. Scramble the egg until cooked through, then mix it into the rice.
Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Kimchi Fried Rice with Bacon

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup kimchi, chopped
2 tablespoons kimchi juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

4 slices bacon, chopped
1 egg

Instructions:

Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in rice, kimchi juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
