Classic Kimchi Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

Kimchi Jjigae
Kimchi Jjigae

2 cups kimchi, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1 block tofu, cubed
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add the chopped kimchi and gochujang, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer.
Add the tofu and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Spicy Kimchi Tofu Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups kimchi, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
4 cups beef broth
1 block tofu, cubed
1 tsp sesame oil
Soy sauce, to taste

Instructions:

Sauté the onion and garlic in a pot until softened.
