Nyonya Dumpling Recipe

1. Classic Nyonya Dumplings

Ingredients:

– 1 cup glutinous rice, soaked overnight
– 200g pork belly, diced
– 5 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked and diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp oyster sauce
– 1 tsp sugar
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Banana leaves, cut into squares
– Kitchen twine

1. Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.

4. Drain excess liquid from the rice and mix with toasted coconut.
