1. Spicy Shrimp and Grits

1 lb of shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup of stone-ground corn grits
2 cups of chicken broth
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of diced bell peppers
1/4 cup of diced onions
1/4 cup of diced tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste


Cook the grits according to package instructions, using chicken broth and cream for extra flavor.
In a large skillet, sauté the bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and garlic until softened.
Add the shrimp and season with cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
Cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Serve the shrimp and vegetable mixture over a bed of creamy grits.

2. Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken Wings


2 lbs of chicken wings
1/4 cup of honey
2 tbsp of Sriracha sauce
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp of soy sauce
1/2 tsp of ginger, grated
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish


Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix together honey, Sriracha sauce, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger.
Toss the chicken wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
Place the wings on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
