Classic Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla bean seeds, and salt. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to steam, but not boil.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for about 20 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to steam, but not boil.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for about 20 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
During the last few minutes of churning, add in the chopped peanut butter cups.
Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
