Classic Kesari Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup semolina (rava)
1 cup sugar
4 cups water
1/4 cup ghee
A handful of cashew nuts and raisins
A pinch of saffron strands
1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions:

Heat ghee in a pan and roast the cashew nuts and raisins until golden. Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan, roast the semolina until fragrant and golden brown.
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add saffron strands and stir well.
Slowly add the roasted semolina to the boiling water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add sugar and mix well. Cook until the kesari reaches a thick consistency.
Add cardamom powder, roasted cashews, and raisins. Mix well.
Serve hot and enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 cup semolina (rava)
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
1/4 cup ghee
1 ripe mango, pureed
A handful of chopped pistachios and almonds

Instructions:
