Classic Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs

3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Beat in cocoa, flour, and salt until well blended.

Peppermint Patty Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped peppermint patties

Instructions:

Follow the same instructions as the Classic Fudgy Brownies, but fold in the chopped peppermint patties before pouring the batter into the pan.

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup prepared caramel sauce
Flaky sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions:

Pour half of the batter into the pan, then drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top. Repeat with the remaining batter and caramel sauce.
Swirl the batter and caramel together with a knife, then sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake as directed and cool before cutting into squares.
