Classic Potato Bake with Cream

Ingredients:
– 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 tablespoon butter

Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a saucepan, heat the cream and garlic over low heat until warm.
3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
