Classic Nasi Lemak Recipe

Ingredients:

Nasi Lemak (Malaysian Coconut Rice)
Nasi Lemak (Malaysian Coconut Rice)

2 cups of jasmine rice
1 can of coconut milk
Pandan leaves
Salt to taste

Steps:

Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
Place the rice in a rice cooker and add the coconut milk, pandan leaves, and salt.
Cook the rice according to the rice cooker instructions.
Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.

Nasi Lemak Sushi Roll Recipe

Ingredients:

Nasi Lemak rice (cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaves)
Nori sheets
Sambal sauce
Fried anchovies
Cucumber strips

Steps:

Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi rolling mat.
Spread a layer of Nasi Lemak rice on the nori sheet.
Add a line of sambal sauce, fried anchovies, and cucumber strips on top of the rice.
Roll the sushi tightly and slice into bite-sized pieces.
